We hope you had a wonderful 2004 and that 2005 has some good things in store for you. I'm so glad that I read the book "Who Moved My Cheese" because it helped me work through some of the changes and challenges that keep happening in our industry. If you haven't read this gem of a Book, consider it. For only 2 hours of your time it might just help you through the changes in your life that you had not planned on. As we continue to "Move with the Cheese", we've had some really new & rewarding experiences.

McCoy Custom Travel/Fiji Escapes Travel/Aloha Destinations/Fiji Romance Holidays has been assisting people like you since 1986 (we started as Aloha Destinations). McCoy Custom Travel was opened as a small agency on Maui in 1993. We went on the Internet in 1996 with the first Fiji Islands Travel website in the world. We are one of the top producing wholesale/retail Fiji Travel agencies in the USA and the largest inbound Hawaii Retail Travel Agency in Hawaii (not including Pleasant of course). I, Melissa McCoy, have lived in Hawaii since 1974 and have been visiting Fiji since 1991 as a Honeymooner and Diver. I have visited Fiji a total of about a year of my life with multiple extended stays of over 3 weeks throughout the years. I have provided Consultation to several Fiji resorts when upgrading the resorts and services to USA client’s standards and expectations. I love what I do and I’m here, we are here, for the long haul.

We are now affiliated with Signature Travel Network, a Billion Dollar sales organization. This affiliation allows us to offer so much more value to you. So far this year we have further expanded our New Zealand and Australia offering tremendously and will continue to do so through the year. Since we are located on Maui, it is easy for us to experience the hotels in our own backyard. Our agents enjoy weekends at many of the fine resorts throughout Hawaii. We are TOP producers with Classic Custom Vacations and Pleasant and offer you their fantastic values and customer service AND OURS... To make double sure that your time in Hawaii is the best we can make it. We know the hotel sales staff by name and talk to them often.

And, the agents are on the move..... We’ve had 6 Vacation Consultants plus myself visit Fiji the last quarter of 2004. 1 staff member went to Fiji and Australia in January, 1 staff member just got back from New Zealand, 2 more staff are going to Fiji in March. Do you want the most diverse knowledge about Fiji? Look no further. If you added up all of our days in Fiji (for all staff) you are looking at about 90 days of experiences in just the last year. From new luxury resorts with plunge pools to the remote and little known island of Kadavu, diving and river rafting, kayaking, snorkeling and hiking... We have done it all this year and are enthusiastic to work with you to share our experiences, our enthusiasm and knowledge with you.

I turned 50 in 2004 and wandered off to Tonga for my dream experience... Swimming/snorkeling within feet of a mom and baby humpback whales. It was incredible. The southern hemisphere humpbacks go to Tonga in our summer (their winter) which is reverse of Whale season in Hawaii. Click here to visit my review and whale pictures of my 50th.. Celebrating life with the gentle giants. In November we took my husbands dream vacation to Africa. We experienced Cape Town, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana (Chobe and the Okavango Delta). Stay tuned for more from us on this destination as Beth Ivarrson (in my office and was raised in Zimbabwe Rhodesia) and myself work on offering enriching African Safaris to our valued clients.
